Osztreicher pianos are made in China, which is not unusual these days; this model is made to German design to reflect the German style and quality. This piano is small and ideal for a beginner or casual player. However, it does need playing to see if it suits your personal needs. The piano is finished in gloss Mahogany and is not perfect by any means, with small defects here and there if you look for them. This piano is c1987 and has a small amount of wear on the noses of the hammers but still has plenty of years playing left in them and the tone is still relatively even.
