We have been established since 1953, when Ronald Ware, the founder of our piano business, completed his apprenticeship at Hickies & Hickies music shop in Boscombe, Dorset where his master could also trace his learning lineage back to the 19th century. We have been expertly restoring, repairing and tuning pianos for Radio 4, music colleges and were former County Council contract school piano tuners and repairers for Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Harrow and Bucks. This Kemble was manufactured in the UK in 1998, after 1985 Kemble had been chosen by Yamaha to make models for the European market. These Kemble pianos have much of the Yamaha spec and you can see many similarities between aspects such as the action and pressure bars etc. The soundboard in harmony with the hammers resonates a very typical Yamaha strong tone which is still something to marvel at when compared to other pianos of the same size.
This model is in great condition and hardly used in its 22 years- which is no age for a piano! We can also include the safety castors with this piano, which normally retail at around £300, including fitting.
Yamaha Kemble pianos are much sort after, as one of the best known piano brands.
