We have been expertly restoring, repairing and tuning pianos for Radio 4, music colleges, and were former County Council contract school piano tuners and repairers for Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Harrow and Bucks. We can safely confirm that this is a Steinway piano and not a Steinwas, as we do not remove the original soundboard as our experience is that the tone is far better with an original Steinway soundboard, and as proof just sitting down to play this piano will prove with its outstanding tone that when they made these pianos, they made them to last and be repaired and restored and not ripped apart from the inside out just leaving the casework. Only Steinways can replace a Steinway soundboard.
