A very different Yamaha U1 from the usual with its fuller tone due to the larger hammers that were common on these early Yamaha pianos, no skimping on felt due to the norm of the day with European pianos ruling the market at the time of manufacture.

The case is in a semi gloss polyester finish, with age related light scratches which won’t show up away from a window light.

The spring loops have been replaced in the past and we have refaced the hammer heads which has rendered a rich warm full tone.
