A classic John Broadwood baby grand; a hugely popular, quality piano with turned traditional legs. This Broadwood was a rare chance to purchase a relatively recently restored example (30-35 years ago). On our multi-point check we noted the following restored aspects:

* Soundboard varnish.
* Frame/plate gold spray.
* Replaced strings completely.
* Replaced hammer roller leathers (see photo).
* Case completely stripped and repolished in very dark Mahogany.
* Replaced hammers.
* Replaced dampers.

John Broadwood Pianos is one of the oldest piano companies in the world established in 1728. The Broadwood grand piano was one of the most common to find along with Bechstein and Bluthner in well to do houses in the UK.
