We have been in the piano business since 1953 when Ronald Ware the founder of our piano business completed his apprenticeship at Hickies & Hickies music shop Boscombe, Dorset where his master could also trace his learning lineage back to the 19th century. We have been expertly restoring, repairing and tuning pianos for Radio 4, music colleges, and were former County Council contract school piano tuners and repairers for Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Harrow and Bucks. Our experience and expertise is second to none. We sell only Pianos; your piano purchase is special to us and would love to continue the after care for years to come!

Steinmayer upright used piano made c1993 by the second largest piano factory in the world and of medium quality and plays and sounds very good for most players with a very limited budget looking for a safe purchase. As with our used piano stock in our Dorset showroom there is little wear and tear on this model. It has been tuned to A440 pitch and regulated to optimize the performance of touch. The veneer is in relatively good condition and is in open grain Teak.
Steinmayer pianos are ideal for the casual or begginner piano player and most on the market are now used and made around 1990’s & early 2000’s. A safe buy if they are in tune on the private market.
