This Kawai upright piano was made to a limited number and is well regarded, the size falls between a new Kawai K300 which has an RRP of £5,999 and a Yamaha U2 which used would be around £4,000-£5,000 for around the same age. The NS-15 is equal to both the new Kawai in tone and equal to the Yamaha U2 in touch and in our opinion better than the U2 in tone. This is one of Kawai’s best scale designs for an upright piano. Many think this model NS-15 is equal in tone to a K500. Everything considered this is an excellent price for an exceptional piano.
The case finish is in good condition with some very minor defects if you give the piano a very close inspection. We have enjoyed regulating and tuning this piano in our workshop and it plays and sounds wonderful and we don’t expect it to be with us for long!
